Just two weeks from Sunday and my annual get-together in the Salthill Hotel will be underway! Thanks to all who have already got their tickets for the shows. The build-up gets underway in style from now on. The Sunday session on November 2 between 3pm and 5pm in the main lounge with Mick Mackey and Friends gets the celebrations off to a great start. The big Sunday night concert starts at 7.45pm featuring our brilliant six member band and the guest performers on this show are Philomena Begley, Gene Stuart, Gloria, Sean Keane, Annmarie ORiordan, TR Dallas, Kevin Prendergast, The Mulloy Brothers, Joe Forde, Nan Tom, Pat Keane, Mary Prendergast and Kieran Lundy. Dancing afterwards in the lounge. Another afternoon session in the lounge on Monday, November 3, and then our big Monday night concert at 7.45pm ....featuring Tony Kerr, John Hogan, Mick Flavin, John Glenn, Crystal Swing, Pat McKenna, Ciaran Rosney, Sam ODoherty, The Brose Walsh Band, Catriona Canavan, Jason Travers and Jordan Mogey. Dancing in lounge afterwards to Carmel McLoughlin. Tickets for these shows are just 25 euros and can be had from the Salthill Hotel (091 522711), Downtown Records in Castlebar and Westport, Smyths of Claremorris, Quinns Shop in Tuam, Clarinbridge Post Office, Carnmore Stores, Joyces of Headford, Doyles in Castlerea, Carrs in Ballina, and countrywide on ticketmaster.
