With the recent happenings and discussing who is right and wrong and also the ups and downs in work this 2 weeks. I thank the Lord for His words in Ephesians 6: 1-9. Children, Obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. Honor your father and mother(this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. Father, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, not by the way of eye -service , as people -pleasers but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. Thankful to the Lord for this precious lesson and knowing my purpose of my current job. Also knowing what a child should do. Thank God for His timely word. God is Good. God is good all the time He put a song of praise In this heart of mine God is good all the time Through the darkest night His light will shine God is good God is good all the time If youre walking through the valley There are shadows all around Do no fear He will guide you He will keep you safe and sound He has promised to never leave you Nor forsake you And His Word is true We were sinners so unworthy Still for us He chose to die He filled us with His Holy Spirit Now we can stand and testify That His love is everlasting And His mercies they will never end Though I may not understand All the plants You have for me My life is in Your hands And through the eyes of faith I can clearly see
