In honor of lab week, this week, I want to thank our wonderful team at Los Angeles Heart Speciatists, again accredited through COLA! Very Proud of Sussan Khalily! She routinely scores A+ on our proficiency testing. Her meticulous work continues to rank at the highest level of achievements for any Laboratory. Sussan Khalily is the Chief Laboratory Technician and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Clinical Laboratory. She graduated from the Nova Institute in Los Angeles. Jeffrey Eskew is the Laboratory Technical Supervisor and is responsible for the long range performance of the laboratory and provides technical diagnostic support to Dr. Emrani. Jeff is a Diplomate in Laboratory Management (ASCP), a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), and holds an MBA from UCLA. Thank you Azucena Haro for joining the team, shining and keeping all aspects of the lab running smoothly. Thank you to all the MAs who are a critical part of the collection and maintenance of the specimens.
