CHRISTOPHER KANE, Phoebe Philo of Celine and Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen will go head-to-head for Womenswear Designer of the Year at the 2013 British Fashion Awards, it was revealed today. Victoria Beckham received two nominations, for Brand of the Year and Red Carpet Designer, while the International Designer award will be contested by Marc Jacobs, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons of Dior. ThreeVoguefavourites - including two cover girls - are in the running for this years Model of the Year: Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell and Sam Rollinson. Other young talents receiving recognition include MarquesAlmeida, Simone Rocha and Thomas Tait in the Womenswear Emerging Talent category, and Dominic Jones, Mr Hare and Sophia Webster for accessories. The boys arent forgotten either: Christopher Bailey of Burberry, Kim Jones of Louis Vuitton and Tom Ford will compete for the Menswear Designer of the Year prize, and the Emerging Talent Menswear award pits Agi & Sam, Christopher Shannon and Craig Green against one another. As always, the one-off awards - the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, the BFC Outstanding Achievement Award and the Best Creative Campaign Award, selected by the BFC press committee - are not announced until the night, although speculation is rife that the outstanding achievement award will go to Kate Moss.
