CHS Seeks New Chair of Theology & Religious History CHS is currently accepting applications for the position of Chair of the Department of Theology and Religious History. We offer the successful applicant the opportunity to support the practice and growth of Pagan ministry and to develop your online teaching experience. The Chair will oversee course offerings, including scheduling, faculty hiring, supervision, and evaluation, syllabi review, and course development. Although the Chair position is not a salaried position, the successful applicant will receive free tuition each semester in one class offered at CHS and will have the opportunity to teach an occasional course and receive regular faculty fees. The Chair will also have the knowledge that she or he is helping to build a lasting institution that reflects her or his goals and values. This is a one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal. Qualified applicants will possess an earned Ph.D. in Religious Studies, a Masters in Divinity, or another terminal degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, will support the core values of Cherry Hill Seminary and Pagan-centered ministry, and will have experience working constructively with those in the Pagan community and comfort with (or an ability to learn about) the technology necessary to deliver high-quality online courses, and access to a computer, telephone, and high speed internet.
