CKN Flakes... I personally believe that the Journalism profession in Nigeria has lost its salt..All we have now are just mere writers and not Journalists in the true sense of it ..I am not exonerating myself here..The core value of Journalism is Investigative Journalism..But all we do these days is just copy and paste..reproduce Agency Reports and monitor International News Channels..Most of us are not grounded in the art of writing..We depend on hands out from politicians,blackmail those who are not ready to settle us and close blind eyes to things happenings around us..I swear that Dele Giwa by now would have unravel and publish all the list of those behind Boko Haram..All the missing funds would have been traced and those behind the blind looting of our treasury would have had sleepless nights by now..But alas what do we see daily on our front pages and Headlines,obviously paid adverts recycled as news..These crop of Journalists including myself are doing a disservice to our fatherland and future generations.Most of us are all contractors now..We need to wake up from our deep slumber before its just too late..CKN
