What: Native Fingerspelling Video Lecture & Moderated Discussion Presented by Byron Bridges, Ph.D. Dr. Byron Bridges earned his B.A. degree in Deaf Studies at California State University of Northridge, his MA in Linguistics from Gallaudet University and his Ed.D in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education at Lamar University. Dr. Bridges has been in the field of ASL linguistics, interpreting and post secondary teaching of ASL as a second language for over 30 years. He is a Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) with RID, Inc. and the author of the book, Deaf Tend Yours. Discussion will be moderated by Robin Brennan, CI, CT, Ed. K-12 When: Friday, March 28th, 2014 Time: 5:00pm – 8:00pm Registration from 5:00 to 5:30pm; Workshop starts promptly at 5:30 pm. This DVD will improve both your receptive and expressive fingerspelling skills. It features Dr. Bridges presenting 15 lessons, lots of practice in reading comprehension of fingerspelling and games we can all enjoy playing. Come watch a native user and have fun learning to ENJOY fingerspelling. :) THIS video lecture is presented ASL with English subtitles.
