COMMIT LITTLE THINGS TO HIM Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he - TopicsExpress

COMMIT LITTLE THINGS TO HIM Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22 A driver while driving spilled water on a man that is a Christian. This man as he wanted to react, first remembered to commit it to the Lord and later dismiss such thought because to him, he can handle the situation. He went to the driver after he had parked and showed him where he spilled him dirty water, instead of the driver to apologize as he expects, the driver said ‘and so’, and this man gave him a good blow that took the driver to hospital and by the time the case was over this Christian was sent to prison for two years for taking laws into his hand. Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Song 2:15 It is little things that we believe we can handle that destroy us. The man in our story thought he could handle the situation without letting the Holy Spirit lead. A little child didn’t greet properly, a friend didn’t call when he should had, the neighbor plays loud music to disturb your peace, an acquaintance just like touching you where you don’t like, the toilet is always left un-flushed, someone wouldn’t sweep when it’s his turn etc. are examples of little things that will destroy you if you think you can always handle these kind of supposed little situations without the help of the Holy Ghost. Foolishness is bound in heart of humans and this makes him unpredictable. The man in our story was expecting an apology but he got an insult. Don’t think you can handle situations no matter how little you think it is by yourself. Learn to pray over little things before diving into handling it. The man in my story ended up in jail and forever becomes an ex-convict just because he thought he could handle the supposed little situation by himself. It is not the big offence of the devil and the world that destabilizes the saint because that saint will always face big offences by seeking divine support; it’s the little offense which the saints think he can handle by himself that destroys him. Learn to commit little things into God’s hand; they have the potentials of destroying you if you don’t. God bless you. Pastor Promise Ikpe Share the word
