COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT! Lots of people recognize the needs of foster children but a special group of individuals have been stepping up to the plate to meet those needs for a long time. One of our long term partners making a difference in the lives of foster children is CASA OF THE 14TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT. CASA has always been faithful to provide volunteers at our adoption picnics each year. As a matter of fact, they were one of the first advocacy group that we went to in order to pitch the idea of hosting adoption picnics in our area. In the beginning, with a limited number of coalition volunteers we knew we would have to have assistance to host the first adoption picnic. Without hesitation CASA of the 14th Judicial District asked how many volunteers do you need? As they say the rest really is history. As we plan for 8th annual adoption picnic CASA is right there with us. Thanks you CASA OF THE 14TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.
