COMP Associate Professor Li Zhong, PhD, received a three-year research grant of $180,000 from Genetics Biotechnology in support of his research on novel tumor markers for cancer detection and targeted therapy on June 16. Dr. Zhong’s research interests focus on developing blood-based detection assay using tumor-associated autoantibodies as biomarkers for cancer early detection. His research achievements in this field have attracted a lot of attention worldwide. Genetics Biotechnology, based in Zhengzhou, China, is a newly established biotech company focusing on cancer diagnosis and biological therapy for cancer.
