COMRADE MACAULAY: TASKS ISOKO NATION ON UNITY AND HARD WORK The Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Comrade Ovuozuorie Macaulay, has called on Isoko people to remain united and sustain their support for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in their Various wards and unit. The SSG made the call while addressing over 500 beneficiaries of various empowerment programmes of the state government and those of us in government during an enlarged meeting at, Asaba. Comrade Macaulay disclosed that himself, Hon Leo Ogor, Hon Timi Owhefere and Dr. Patrick Ferife took it as a responsibility in the past four years to empower some persons in the form of monthly salaries to enhance their living conditions. “The over 500 people which include youths and women you see in this hall today are people who are either benefitting from state government empowerment programmes or those directly benefitting from us”, he said. He equally advised the people not to relent in their support for the present administration, adding that they should also ensure victory of PDP at the forthcoming local government elections in the State. The beneficiaries and other PDP leaders and supporters while commending the SSG and his team for their benevolence, passed a vote of confidence on Comrade Macaulay, SSG, endorse Hon Leo Ogor and Hon Tim Owhefere for re-election and commend them for their effective representation, assuring of their resolution to return them to the House Reps and Assembly in 2015. In an Interview, Hon Leo Ogor and Hon Tim Owhefere commended the people for their support over the years and the vote of confidence passed on them, assuring that they would continue to deliver the dividend of democracy to them via effective and purposeful representation.
