CONCLUSION Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Well, here we are finished with this reading. What a joyous time it has been reading each day’s scripture along with so many more to support and encourage us in this journey called life. As we have completed this forty day reading, God has left us with one final scripture, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” What does that really mean? Meekness? Well let’s look and see. Meekness in this context is being used in the sense as, “ an attitude of humility towards God and gentleness towards people, knowing that God is in control. Meekness can sometimes be confused for weakness because of their appearance to similarities, but they are entirely different. Weakness is due to negative circumstances such as lack of strength or lack of courage, as meekness is due to a personal choice, it is strength and courage under control, full of genuine kindness. Jesus walked and lived in a virtue of meekness, and as followers of Jesus Christ we too should walk in this at all times. For this to be the very scripture as we conclude, I would say that it is very important to have the attribute of meekness very active in and through our lives releasing such true power out of our lives that come strictly through the Holy Spirit. So please, as you reflect back on each day and meditate on the different scriptures, remember this one and make it a very important part of your Christian walk. It does not matter what you do, if you are not truly doing all things in love. I tell people to saturate themselves in the book of John. You see John called himself the beloved, because that is the way he felt. Why? Because John was caught up in who Jesus is, rather than all the things Jesus did. We are called to imitate the life of Jesus, to mirror all that He did, and the greatest thing He ever did was to love, because He was truly an expression of Gods’ love. So become that first in all that you do. So as we conclude I just want to thank all of you for taking the time out of your life to read my first book. This has been my journey over and over again through-out the last twelve years. I love the Word of God, Jesus in the flesh, life in its self. I have been pursuing full time ministry for over ten years, answering the call on my life from our Lord Jesus Christ, who came in the Spirit and visited me on the night of my baptismal at the age of eight years old. In this time I have truly experienced the thrill of victory in my life and ministry as well as the agony of defeat, in both as well. The scriptures in this forty day reading are ones that I have used in and through my life to experience true freedom in Christ. There have been times that I have felt so dead, no life in me at all, and as I would seek God it still did not seem to help, but I am here to tell you Jesus is life and this next scripture will manifest in your life if you nurture it, we find it in Jeremiah 29:13-14; “You will seek me and find me when you seek with all of your heart. I will be found by you declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity…..” So some of you might be saying right now, but nothing seems to help, and I am telling you from my own personally experiences and journeys, that if you continue to press in and saturate yourself completely in the Word of God, without ceasing, that as you do this, all of a sudden without even noticing it, what will happen is the stone covering the opening of the tomb will be removed and life will be released in you once again. Like I said this has been my journey, if this ministers to you take all of it and apply it in and through your life. If part of it works for you but other parts don’t sit well with you, use the things you like and put the rest on the shelf of life for another time. Whatever the case, this next scripture is true and accurate for all scripture as you read the Word and use it for your daily walk with the Lord. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” So in this know, as you seek out your path, know that Jesus is the way the truth and the life, and that no man shall come to the Father but through Him, this being the Word of God and following it faithfully. As we conclude, I want to thank-you again so much for walking through this forty days with me and the Holy Spirit, I would love for us to say a prayer as we end and then leave you with one last scripture to meditate on, thank-you and may God bless you each and every day from this point on in your journey of life. Holy Spirit, I ask You to come right now, I ask for Your presence to come forth in and through me as a child of God. Holy Spirit, I ask that You would release a fire and hunger in me, to passionately pursue the presence of God in a whole different way. As I pursue You, take me deeper and deeper into Your Word and enrich my life more with the aroma of the presence of the Holy Spirit, filling me to an overflowing of righteousness and purity, creating clarity in the spiritual realm. In Jesus Name, AMEN! Ecclesiastes 12:13 Now all that has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter; Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
