Dr. Corey Norton is a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Prior to his doctoral education, Dr. Corey completed his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. In addition to his formal education, he continues to attend regular seminars and classes to better serve his patients. Dr. Corey has already begun taking additional courses to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Corey and his wife Etta are current residents of the town of Nisswa. He and his wife share a similar interest in natural health care and feel fortunate to be working alongside each other. They are expecting their first child this fall and eagerly await the new adventures this will bring. Dr. Corey is an avid sports fan, and enjoys following the Minnesota Vikings and the Wild. He enjoys spending his little free time playing hockey, tennis and being outdoors. He also enjoys cooking, reading, and is a technology enthusiast. Etta Norton, L.Ac., M.Om. Etta Norton is a native of the Brainerd Lakes Area and is a graduate of Brainerd High School. She attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science. Etta then went on to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine within Northwestern Health Sciences University. Etta became interested in the area of Oriental Medicine after having a positive Acupuncture experience. She was fascinated with the ability of the body to heal itself when appropriately stimulated. This led to the pursuit of learning all she could about the art and science of Oriental Medicine. Etta is excited to return to the Lakes area and to share her love of Acupuncture with its residents. She and her husband, Corey, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in September. In her spare time, Etta likes to walk, read, garden, and watch the Minnesota Wild. She looks forward to treating and getting to know patients and addressing their individual needs.
