CONGRATULATIONS TO CHERYL FOLEY - AMERICAN LEGION CIVILIAN OF THE YEAR Cheryl Foley Civilian of the Year. Cheryl was hired in 2008 as a dispatcher and quickly became the go to person for numerous different projects for officers, dispatchers and administration. In early 2012, Cheryl Foley took on the task of our agency’s Accreditation Manager. With a time crunch of only 6 months, Cheryl Foley had to create three years worth of electronic files. Not only did she successfully build each and every file from scratch but she was nominated as accreditation manager of the year for the state of Florida which she will be presented the award next month. Not only was Cheryl Foley nominated as Florida’s accreditation manager of the year, but many seasoned accreditation mangers throughout the state have reached out and requested her expertise. Besides being the agency’s accreditation manager, Cheryl assists with the budget, fleet management, purchases and management of department accounts. Cheryl Foley is a true asset to this agency’s functionality.
