Therefore, LETS CREATE A GROUP OF SANE MINDS, TO DECIDE ON THEIR BEHALF........humn ....@pdp Ekiti wdo......are you saying that we should relinquish our civic duties, as members of a democratic party and allow leaders who have been selfish and in general, unimpressive, in developing us and our physical society, to decide who is the best candidate, to represent us, in the coming election. ......MY FRIEND, MARK IT DOWN, TODAY, THE END WILL BE DISASTROUS, WITHOUT BEING PESSIMISTIC .....THEY WILL ALL BE FIGHTING FOR THEIR OWN POCKET AND SELFISH INTERESTS.....THIS WILL INEVITABLY POint GUNS NOZZLES AT THE HEAD OF THE CHOSEN CANDIDATE. This ACCORDINGLY, will LIMIT SUCH CANDIDATE , IN GOVERNMENT, as he or she will have no option , other than to be dancing to the dictates, whims and caprices of the leaders who ratified hiss or her candidacy, during the consensus process. .........THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF IT, A CONSENSUS CANDIDATE WILL ACT IN THE INTEREST OF THE LEADERS WHO CHOSE HIM TO REPRESENT THE PARTY, IMMEDIATELY, HE OR SHE BECOMES THE GOVERNOR. I did identify this as one of the reasons that is serving as impediment to realizing the DIVIDENTS of democracy, in development. I pressed-pen this under POLITICAL GODFATHERISM, WHENI WROTE ON THE STATE OF POVERTY .....and its alleviation in Nigeria.(a comprehensive report we packaged and submitted to the presidency, in year 2000) .............WHEREAS, THE REVERSE , WILL BE THE CASE, IF PEOPLE WHO ARE LIKELY TO BE PART AND PARCEL OF THE GOVERNMENT AT BOTH LOCAL AND STATE LEVELS, ARE BROUGHT TOGETHER, TO CHOSE A POPULAR CANDIDATE TO LEAD THE ELECTION PROCESSES. Apart from the fact that it is in agreement to democratic norms, this will also make PDP a democratic party, as at the end of it all, a popular and people oriented candidate , will emerge as their representative, at the poll.. In line with this line of thought............FIRSTLY, IT WILL ensure grassroot representation , as well as, Grassrroot representatives WORK LESS CUMBERSOME , AS BIGGER CIRCLES OF POPULARITY WILL BEGIN TO ROLL INTO SMALLER CIRCLES OF POPULARITY, HENCE, VICTORY WILL BE GUARANTEED. ......SECONDLY, SUCH PRODUCT OF PRIMARY , WILL BE LOYAL, TO THE ELECTORATES, FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END OF HIS TERM...........THIS ACCORDINGLY, WILL ENSURE THAT WE THE POORS, EXPERIENCE THE DIVIDENTS OF DEMOCRACY BETTER. Sir, please...........EXPAND YOUR SCOPE OF ANALYSIS, BY GOING BACK IN HISTORY.
