CORRUPTION THE CHRONIC DISEASE IN OUR NATION NIGERIA I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOUR EMPTY THREAT, “KILL ME AND MAKE ME A HERO.” For me, to live is Christ to die is gain Php 1:21 The 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria guarantee me the following rights. Chapter 38- Right to freedom of thought, conscience. Chapter39- Right to freedom of expression and press. Chapter42- Right to freedom from discrimination. Havent say this may I ask you to learn me your ears, eyes and mind as I speak on corruption the chronic diseases in our nation Nigeria. It marvels me when the government that was suppose to fight against corruption is the one promoting it. Does that mean it has come to stay? My answer is Yes if we permit it. Nigeria is afflicted with a chronic disease called corruption because perverse leader are in power. The call good evil and evil good what a shame. “Show me a righteous ruler and I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked ruler and I will show you a miserable people”. Prov29:2. Corruption is more serious and pervasive than may be envisaged, posing serious Threats to the political and securities, undermining democratic institutions, socio-economic development, ethical values and justice and jeopardizing sustainable development and the rule of law. One of the fastest growing company in nigeria with effective strategies and intelligent personnels is CORRUPTION PLC. Offenses of corruption dealing with public officers are geared towards ensuring accountability and transparency in the management of public affairs. Section 98, 98A, 98B, and 98C of criminal code deal with all cases of official corruption and abuse of office. But in nigeria the law have been watered down. They make the Law yet they Kill the Law wicked government. No kind of corrupt practices you will not see or hear in this country E.G extortion, bribery, abuse of office, misappropriation of fund e.t.c yet we have institutions created for these purposes but are not functioning because Corruption have surrounded himself with giants (Goliat). Justice is perverted, I know how terrible your sins are and how many crime you have committed. You persecute good people, take bribes, and prevent the poor from getting justice in the courts (Amos5:12) As a result of this no respect for human life anymore in nigeria. “In this administrations judgment is turned backward and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter”.(Isaiah 59:114) 20billion missing has gone on silent and nobody is talking; do you still want this people in 2015? The choice is yours. My fellow country men and women, we cannot trust this rules of man to work in our favor, we must rise up and say No to weak system of government, No to government who is always on top of situations but no changes. We must insist on rules of law so that we can salvage our dear country from the abyss of lawlessness and violence. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH LORD SAVE US.
