CPD WEBINAR COMPLEX CORPORATE IMMIGRATION ISSUES AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 28, 2014. Kyle Hyndman is an associate lawyer at Baker & McKenzie in Toronto, one of the world’s largest law firms. Established in 1949, it has 75 offices throughout the world and employs over 4,000 lawyers. Kyle is a member of the firm’s Immigration Group where he assists clients with all aspects of Canadian immigration and Citizenship law. He is a highly sought-after adviser and speaker on immigration legal issues. He has been a provincial chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s immigration law section and a Joint Federal-Provincial Immigration Advisory Council member. He has co-chaired a regular course for lawyers on corporate immigration and has spoken on a variety of immigration and citizenship issues to lawyers, the media and community groups. Before joining Baker & McKenzie, Mr. Hyndman practiced immigration and citizenship law at a leading boutique immigration law firm in Vancouver. He also makes volunteer and pro bono work an important part of his professional life; in addition to his extensive teaching and policy work, he has been a board member of several non-profit organizations serving immigrants and refugees, helped start and run a pro bono immigration legal clinic and has mentored numerous young lawyers and law students.He has represented clients at all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as at the Federal Court.
