CRIME ALERT-DONT LEAVE YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPEN NBPD has seen a recent trend where items are being stolen from homes where the garage door has been left open by the homeowner. We urge all residents to make sure you close your garage door unless you are actively working in your front yard or inside the garage. In some of these incidents the homeowner left the garage door open for only a few moments while they were inside their home. A burglar literally needs just a few seconds to approach your garage grab something and flee in a vehicle. If you leave your garage, close the door. If you see any suspicious vehicles or persons in your neighborhood be a good witness by getting a good description and license plate number then do not hesitate to call NBPD (830) 221-4100 and report it.
