CUBED - 3Sixty, Reading Uni – Friday 4th October Line-up announcement & details: On Friday 4 October, Sounds Aloud link up with Skint Mondays to present their biggest CUBED event to date, bringing Reading a world class line up of the hottest acts around. . Heidi (Radio 1/Jackathon), Paul Woolford (Hotflush), Hannah Wants & Friend Within will all play DJ sets with Sinead Harnett performing live & many more acts at Reading University’s venue - 3sixty. Headlining the night will be HEIDI. Canadian born Heidi hosts a bi-monthly Radio 1 show, promoted from ‘In New DJs We Trust’ after just six months. She has wowed crowds across the world, taking her ‘Heidi presents Jackathon’ parties to Bugged Out Weekender, Lovebox, Hideout, Ibiza & many more, where her headline sets never fail to impress. PAUL WOOLFORD has been one of the kings of underground house since he secured DJ residencies at ‘Back To Basics’ in Leeds & ‘We Love…Space’ in Ibiza in the late 2000s. This year, Paul has turned even more heads with his ‘Untitled’ track on Hotflush. With Joy Orbison, Eats Everything & Skream amongst those singing it’s praises, ‘Untitled’ is undoubtedly one of the tunes of the Summer. We can’t wait for Paul Woolford to make his Reading debut at this very special event. This June, HANNAH WANTS played one of CUBED’s best received sets to date at SUB89 making her a must to return for our big RUSU party. Her tracks with production partner Chris Lorenzo, including ‘Dappy’, ‘Rude Boy’ & ‘Oochie Bang’ are main room dance floor destroyers, expect plenty of bass and energy when she takes to the decks on 4th October. FRIEND WITHIN is another returning hero having won many new fans at CUBED 2nd Birthday in March. Disclosure named Friend Within their ‘one to watch in 2013’ on Radio 1 in January and have made his remix of ‘White Noise’ their version of choice in their DJ sets. ‘The Renegade’, Friend Within’s rework of Wildchild’s ‘Renegade Master’ has been a big festival favorite this summer for many, including Annie Mac, & will undoubtedly sound huge through our specially commissioned sound system. Performing live at the event will be SINEAD HARNETT. The half-Thai, half-Irish songstress dominated vocal duties on Disclosure’s The Face EP with lead vocals on ‘Boiling’ and ‘What’s In Your Head’. Sinead also collaborated with Kidnap Kid (‘So Close’) & co-wrote & performed three songs on the Number One album ‘Home’ for Rudimental, also playing numerous live shows with the band. Her solo career has made a very promising start with Eats Everything producing her debut single ‘Got Me’ on Rudimental’s Black Butter Records label. On the night, three rooms of music will showcase the best local DJs and talent bringing together everything lovers of club music in Reading have come to expect from CUBED and its weekly sister night Skint Mondays. Drinks deals will also run all night with doors opening at 9pm.
