CULT OF LUNA & GOD SEED: EUROPEAN TOUR 2014 NMC Live and Indie Recordings are proud to bring together two of metal’s most interesting and expansive bands to co-headline in April/May 2014. 2013 saw Cult of Luna return after more than 5 years away with the sprawling masterpiece that was ‘Vertikal’. Absence might have made fan’s hearts grow fonder, but this was no nostalgia trip: Cult of Luna sounded more relevant than ever and the album appeared high in the end of year lists of both fans and press alike. Their live reputation was cemented with numerous sold out shows across Europe and standout performances at festivals such as Pukkelpop, Summer Breeze, Brutal Assault, Roadburn, Hellfest and Damnation. Both Hellfest and Damnation were also stages for God Seed to display that they’d lost nothing in the transition and growth of Gaahl and King after Gorgoroth. Hordes packed these stages and weren’t disappointed as the band displayed their art whilst stripping back their stage show to reveal something even more potent: the will to grow; the god within man; the god within nature; the will to reach one’s highest potential.
