CUPCAKE IS BAAAACK - A few days ago, on a Monday evening, CupCake was visiting a home that was struck by lightening, followed by a loud clap of thunder. Several items in the home were burned beyond repair. Although CupCake had planned to stay several days with BooBoo and Daniel, the lightening strike changed her mind. She was immediately on the phone to Pappy (ME) with a request to IMMEDIATELY come and get her, and bring her home. The round trip would take about 1 !/2 hours to drive. I had 2 hours until TheER was to go live on the internet. I quickly gathered my stuff, jumped in the car, and drove through rain, thunder and lightening to reach CupCake. I was met with a big smile, a tight hug, and we immediately got in the car for the return trip home with CupCake hanging on my right arm with a firm grip. I asked if she was afraid. She quickly declared, Im not afraid now, cause youre bigger than the storm! LIFE LESSON: Sometimes lifes circumstances quickly change and plans are altered. Please know that when you cry unto the LORD, HE hears and immediately reveals HIMSELF. HE knows where you are, and knows the way to safety. Never fear, make the call, HE answers, and out of HIS heart of love, and compassion, carries you to safety. We all feel safe with HIM, because we are confident, HE is always BIGGER than your storm!
