Cael saw the Urologist today. (Cael said I could share) The Urologist is doing another ultrasound next week to check the Mass in Caels bladder. (Still not sure what that is) The thickening of the bladder walls is most likely due to Caels inability to urinate. The inability to urinate is due to Caels Dysautonomia progression. He will now be catheterized for anytime he does not urinate for 12+ hours. Cael also starts Biofeedback to try to train his brain to communicate with his pelvic area and train him to be able to void his urine. This biofeedback is different then the biofeedback he has been doing. Until further notice, we will discontinue biofeedback in LA. The Urologist also did an emergency auth for Cael to get in with Gastroenterology to address his lack of ability to poop. (I know TMI....Cael said I could post this) This is also most likely due to Caels Dysautonomia progression. Cael said he can not wait to see GI.
