*** MATERIALS COORDINATOR *** Bowling Green, KY Job Description SUMMARY: Compile, verify, and maintain MRO materials inventory and status information to expedite movement of MRO materials to production & shipping areas by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Read MRP requirements, production schedules, inventory notifications, and routers to determine type and quantity of MRO materials • Required, availability of stock, order priority and delivery schedules. • Confer with corporate MRO materials personnel to requisition/purchase MRO materials and to maintain proper material levels. • Locate and distribute trial MRO materials to specified production area and communicate availability. • Record and maintain perpetual inventory of quantity and type of MRO materials received, stocked, and utilized. • Compile and maintain records such as MRO material inventory records, production records, and reports. • Manage outside vendor programs including material releases, receipts, reporting, file maintenance, and other communications. • Set up and maintain purchased MRO materials records in business control system. • Coordinate sale of surplus materials with corporate materials personnel. • Post information related to daily MRO materials activity. • Prepare special inventories periodically. • Maintain files related to MRO materials specifications. • Monitor MRO materials specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements. • Other duties as assigned.
