IESVS Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews Isaiah 30 1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” saith the Lord, “that take counsel, but not of Me, and that cover with a covering, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to Wisconsin; 2 that walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at My mouth, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. 4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. 5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be a help nor profit, but a shame and also a reproach.” 6 The burden of the beasts of the South: Into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the humps of camels, to a people that shall not profit them. 7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose; therefore have I cried to her concerning this, “Their strength is to sit still.” 8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever, 9 that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord, 10 who say to the seers, “See not,” and to the prophets, “Prophesy not unto us right things; speak unto us smooth things; prophesy deceits. 11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.” 12 Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: “Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stand thereon, 13 therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. 14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter’s vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare, so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water threby out of the pit.” 15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; but ye would not. 16 But ye said, ‘No, for we will flee upon horses’; therefore shall ye flee! And, ‘We will ride upon the swift’; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift! 17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee, till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain and as an ensign on a hill.” 18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you. For the Lord is a God of judgment; blessed are all they that wait for Him. 19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; thou shalt weep no more. He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer thee. 20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers. 21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, “This is the way; walk ye in it,” when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left. 22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver and the ornament of thy molten images of gold. Thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, “Get thee hence.” 23 Then shall He give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground therewith, and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous. In that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. 24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that till the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. 25 And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. 26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of His people and healeth the stroke of their wound. 27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with His anger, and the burden thereof is heavy; His lips are full of indignation and His tongue as a devouring fire. 28 And His breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity; and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. 29 Ye shall have a song as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept, and gladness of heart as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the Mighty One of Israel. 30 And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering and tempest and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, who smote with a rod. 32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with taborets and harps; and in battles of weapon shaking will He fight with it. 33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared. He hath made it deep and large; the pile thereof is fire and much wood. The breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.680100765373420.1073741827.265287490188085&type=1 . . . Zephaniah 1:16 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 16 a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities and against the high towers. Malachi 4 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 4 “For behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble. And the day that cometh shall burn them up,” saith the Lord of hosts, “that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves from the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this,” saith the Lord of hosts. 4 “Remember ye the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” 20 Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city, and it was written in Hebrew and Greek and Latin. 21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, “Write not ‘The King of the Jews,’ but, ‘He said, I am King of the Jews.’” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” 23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part, and also His coat. Now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled which saith, “They parted My raiment among them, and for My vesture did they cast lots.” These things therefore the soldiers did. 25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother and the disciple standing by whom He loved, He said unto His mother, “Woman, behold thy son!” 27 Then said He to the disciple, “Behold thy mother!” And from that hour, that disciple took her unto his own home. 28 After this Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst.” 29 Now there was set there a vessel full of vinegar; and they filled a sponge with vinegar and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, “It is finished.” And He bowed His head and gave up the ghost. Genesis 11:9 Comparable to 9/11 King James Version (KJV) 11 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. biblegateway/passage/... Luke 21 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 21 And He looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury, 2 and He saw also a certain poor widow casting therein two mites. 3 And He said, “In truth I say unto you that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all. 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God, but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.” 5 And when some spoke of the temple and how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He said, 6 “As for these things which ye behold, the days will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.” 7 And they asked Him, saying, “Master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?” 8 And He said, “Take heed that ye be not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and, ‘the time draweth near.’ Go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified, for these things must first come to pass. But the end is not at once.” 10 Then said He unto them, “Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, 11 and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences. And fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, and you will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 And it shall turn to you to bear testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand what ye shall answer. 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends, and some of you they shall cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated by all men for My name’s sake. 18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls. 20 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let them that are in the midst of it depart out, and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 25 “And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress among nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. 26 Men’s hearts will fail them for fear and for looking upon those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.” 29 And He spoke to them a parable: “Behold the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the Kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. 34 “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that Day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” 37 And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple; and at night He went out and stayed on the mount that is called the Mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to Him in the temple to hear Him. biblegateway/passage/?search=luke+21... Mark 13 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 13 And as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said unto Him, “Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!” 2 And Jesus answering, said unto him, “Seest thou these great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.” 3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately, 4 “Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?” 5 And Jesus answering them, began to say, “Take heed lest any man deceive you. 6 For many shall come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ!’ and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled, for such things must come to pass; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 “But take heed for yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to councils, and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten. And ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the Gospel must first be proclaimed among all nations. 11 But when then shall lead you and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak; neither need ye premeditate. But whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated by all men for My name’s sake; but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 “But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not be” (let him that readeth understand), “then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein to take any thing out of his house. 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again to take up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days. 21 And then if any man shall say to you, ‘Lo, here is Christ!’ or, ‘Lo, He is there!’ believe him not; 22 for false christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. 23 But take ye heed; behold, I have foretold you all things. 24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, ‘the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.’ 26 And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall He send His angels and shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. 28 “Now learn a parable of the fig tree: When her branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near. 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass till all these things be done. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man — no, not the angels who are in Heaven, neither the Son, but only the Father. 33 “Take ye heed, watch and pray; for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore, for ye know not when the Master of the house cometh — at evening, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning — 36 lest coming suddenly, He find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you, I say unto all: Watch!” biblegateway/passage/?search=mark+13+... Matthew 21 21st Century King James Version (KJ21) 21 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage unto the Mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2 saying unto them, “Go into the village opposite you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them unto Me. 3 And if any man say aught unto you, ye shall say, ‘The Lord hath need of them,’ and straightway he will send them.” 4 All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 “Tell ye the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek and sitting upon an ass, and a colt, the foal of an ass.’” 6 And the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7 And they brought the ass and the colt and put on them their clothes, and they set Him thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; and others cut down branches from the trees and strewed them in the way. 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried out, saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” 10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the multitude said, “This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.” 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves, 13 and said unto them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called the house of prayer,’ but ye have made it a den of thieves.” 14 And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were sore displeased, 16 and said unto Him, “Hearest thou what these say?” And Jesus said unto them, “Yea, have ye never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise’?” 17 And He left them and went out of the city into Bethany, and He lodged there. 18 Now in the morning as He returned into the city, He hungered. 19 And when He saw a fig tree by the wayside, He came to it and found nothing thereon, but leaves only. And He said unto it, “Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.” And immediately the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How soon has the fig tree withered away!” 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, “Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea,’ it shall be done. 22 And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” 23 And when He had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto Him as He was teaching and said, “By what authority doest thou these things? And who gave thee this authority?” 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell Me, I in like manner will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John: whence was it? From Heaven, or of men?” And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we shall say, ‘From Heaven,’ he will say unto us, ‘Why did ye not then believe him?’ 26 But if we shall say, ‘Of men,’ we fear the people, for all hold John to be a prophet.” 27 And they answered Jesus and said, “We cannot tell.” And He said unto them, “Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. 28 “But what think ye? A certain man had two sons. And he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he repented and went. 30 And he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ and went not. 31 Which of those two did the will of his father?” They said unto Him, “The first.” Jesus said unto them, “Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the Kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and harlots believed him. And ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. 33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain householder who planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and dug a wine press in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen and went into a far country. 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one and killed another and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants, more than the first; and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, ‘They will reverence my son.’ 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.’ 39 And they caught him and cast him out of the vineyard and slew him. 40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?” 41 They said unto Him, “He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons.” 42 Jesus said unto them, “Did ye never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 Therefore say I unto you, the Kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” 45 And when the chief priests and the Pharisees had heard His parables, they perceived that He spoke of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitude, because they took Him for a prophet. biblegateway/passage/?search=matt+21...
