Calling All PIES -- Panel of Imperfect Experts: A Mom writes: My son is 9 years old, non-verbal ASD. Yesterday his state standardized test scores came to the house and he scored close to 50% in language arts and got 8 out of 60 in math. I went online and looked at samples of the test and theres no way he would have been able to complete any of it, let alone score so high in one section. I dont know if papers got switched up or someone answered questions for him. These tests dont mean much for him, his placement is secured by his lack of speech. So should I say something, or let it go? And if I do say something, how far should I take it? Im at a loss, so any input is appreciated.
