I Am is longing for My Bride! → 2013 Word Of The Lord (Arise and Cross Over) (Part 1) Posted on 13 May 2013 by Jo Ellen Stevens This is the year 5773 in the Hebrew Calendar which has a few meanings, but one of the meanings is “To cross over”. This is the year that God’s people that have been prepared as by fire by trial and have learned to walk in love toward their fellow man will rise up into the fullness of their destiny to crossover from the warfare of the past (doing warfare as in the past season) and come into the alignment and positioning into the earth for the harvest. This is the year for the Manifest sons to arise from the frustration and prostration in which circumstances have kept them. This is a time for us to push past our comfort zones, our fears, our frustrations, your past, and your insecurities!! Come out of the complacency where hopelessness has set in because of what seems to have been delay to you and begin to take our place in whatever God has been preparing us for! God says “This has not been delay but a time of preparation of those that are about to train the harvesters for the greatest harvest the world has ever seen.” Some of you have settled in your hearts that you will lay back and retire because of age or hurt or circumstances but all of this has gotten you to a place of dependency on God alone and that has been His plan all along!! This last season has brought us into being more like Jesus. Romans 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Literally, He planned that you would become more like Him if it has to kill you to do it! I am not talking about death in the literal sense here but death to your flesh so that He might increase in you!! Many that have failed in the past will now be like Samson of old and will fulfill the prophecy that was spoken over them after they had been blind for a season because of bad choices. Rom 11:29 “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” You will come into it. The angel of the Lord had come to Samson’s mother and spoken before He was born. Judges 13:5 “For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” Many of you have had prophecy spoken over your life as far back as 20 or 30 years and your destiny has not come to pass. God has been doing something in you even through you have had failures and set backs. Yes, even in those times he has been preparing you for such a time as this. He has been causing you to grow up into Him. This is the time of the rising up of the Grown up Sons of God to come forth and arise!! Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” You see, darkness is covering the earth in this season but there is the call to arise. That word “arise” in Hebrew has many meanings but here are a few that I felt God is speaking to us right now. Arise – Here is the Hebrew meaning of “arise”. Strong’s 6965. quwm, koom; a prim. root; to rise (in various applications, lit. fig., intens. and caus.):–abide, accomplish, X be clearer, confirm, continue, decree, X get up, make good, help, hold, (help to) lift up (again), make, X but newly, ordain, perform, pitch, raise (up), rear (up), remain, (a-) rise (up) (again, against), rouse up, set (up), (e-) stablish, (make to) stand (up), stir up, strengthen, succeed, (as-, make) sure (-ly), (be) up (-hold, -rising). You see it is time to Koom!! Quwm up here. Come up into where He is calling us out of our circumstances and we do that through worship. As we do that He is about to give us a new perspective on what has gone on and what is about to happen in our lives. You see, one of the meanings of arise here is “to abide”. Unless I abide in Him I can not ask what I will but God is looking for abiders in this season so that He can pour into them and they will begin to say what they hear Him saying and do what they see Him doing. God is looking for a prophetic army of believers in this season to begin to decree His will over the nations!! This is the Manifest sons rising up!! Also, one of the words here for arise is “to confirm”. God is looking for those that will go forth speaking His rhema words into the earth so that He may “watch over it to confirm it”! God wants us as believers to come up and hear Him and then speak it and do it in the earth so that He can confirm it and perform it. He is waiting on us to arise! This also will cause us to be clearer in our visions and revelations and to be clearer is one of the meanings for arise also!! There is a veil about to come off of our eyes that has stopped us from going forward in this hour. Isaiah 25:7 “And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.” What mountain? The mountain of the Lord!! We are getting ready as we “Koom” or come up here to see clearer than we ever have in the past season. 5773 also has a meaning, ”to see” We are about to see clearer than we ever have in the Spirit realm. God is beginning to pour out revelation right now. He is revealing who He is in this hour. He is also revealing many things in dreams and visions about our callings and where we are being placed in this hour. Also another meaning here is “to decree and make good”. We are supposed to be decreeing what we hear Him saying in this hour to displace the kingdom of darkness and loose the kingdom of God to be the repairers of the breach and the restorers of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12 “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Yes, there are still giants in the land, but we will arise and cross over this year to begin to drive them out. We must rise with a Spirit of Joshua and Caleb and begin to tell the younger in the Lord that we are well able to take the land!! Numbers 14:6-9 ”And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which flows with milk and honey Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.” In this new season of the Lord He will only use those that will see the glass half full and not half empty. We will have to come up into His presence through worship and like David said, “magnify the Lord”. In other words, make Him bigger than the giants of the land not only in our own eyes but as we speak, speak with faith and not fear. There are too many fear based Christians these days always warning of the doom to come but never encouraging the people to go forward and possess the land!! To tell them that “Greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world!” We must arise and begin to decree what “thus saith the Lord” about a situation and speaking like David. “How dare they defy the army of the living God!!” Somebody has to be like Esther and say “if I perish, I perish!” Somebody has to be like the three Hebrew children and declare “We know our God is able to save us from the fire” or like Moses who faced the Pharaoh’s of his day. Many will face government leaders and say “Let my people go!” Many will arise this year and as Daniel said “Be strong and do exploits!” Many will rise up above their fears and do great feats for the Kingdom of God!! As gross darkness covers the earth many people will rise up and know that they have nothing left to lose and say as Isaiah “Here am I, send me Lord!” This is the day and the hour of the crossing over and the manifest sons to arise. This is the hour for many to push past the failures of their past and fears of the their future! This is the hour of the “Isaiah 60″ church to arise in the earth!! This is the time for His burning ones to arise!! This is the hour for the violent to arise and take the kingdom by force!” Many have been through the whirlwind of 2012 and have now been blown out into a landing place and are saying “What now?” Well, it is time to arise and shine in that place that you have landed!! You have landed there and have been stripped to nothing and that is where God wants you because He is going to do a new thing with you in this season. “This is the first day of the rest of your life”, as the saying goes. This is a new beginning and God does not want us to even consider the things of old, not even the good things. This is a new day with a new purpose!! Many women will rise up in this hour and become the “great company of women” that will arise and come into their destinies and bring deliverance to those that have been brokenhearted and those that have been abused. They will come into even a greater degree of authority in their callings and regain what has been stolen from them in past generations. ”I have seen their plight says the Lord and I am now raising them up and justice for their injustices will I bring” Isaiah 43:18-19 ”Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” He says here, “shall ye not know it?” You see. God is speaking to many right now of the “new thing“ that He is about to do and if you haven’t heard yet, I am telling you now. Things are about to change, and change in a big way for everyone on planet earth. We can choose to be a part of the solution or a part of the problem. Choose you this day whom you will serve!! Choose to see the giants as grasshoppers. Choose to be the one that God will use to do mighty feats this year! Choose to be of a different Spirit!! I had a vision during Rosh Hashanah (The head of the year). I saw a man in rags with His head held down. He then stepped over a threshold and became mighty warrior dressed in shiny armor and stood upright and focused on what was in front of him! I believe this is a picture of those that are arising in the body of Christ right now, mighty men and women of valor! Heroes of the faith with one thing in their hearts and that is to prepare the way of the Lord and take the land for the Kingdom of God!! Glory to God!! Rise up oh ye mighty men and women cross over and take the Land!
