Callista began dancing at a young age; until she was told to quit and concentrate on her studies. Upon graduating and finally making her own moolah, with her love of dancing still strong, she started dancing again, beginning firstly with social dancing and then more seriously into latin dancing; which she competed for a few years. Her dance abilities have also allowed her to be part of quite a few musical productions locally notably, Puteri Gunung Ledang, The Wizard of Oz, and The Producers. Contemporary dance has always been a dance form she has shied away from, due to the vast styles within the dance form and its tendencies towards the abstract; quite the opposite from the other dance form shes familiar with. It has been a frustrating and challenging journey trying to break out of the box throughout the Dance Dance Dance workshop; and it is a challenge that will continue indefinitely.
