Calvary Greetings!!! Our Focal Scripture of STREAMS OF JOY to Todays Devotional is: “His brothers said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? Or are you going to have us as your subjects and dominate us? And they hated him all the more for his dreams and for what he said.” – Genesis 37:8 Our Focal Scripture reveals that Josephs brothers hated him because of his dreams and because of his words. His dream was not their only problem; his words provoked some hatred too. Joseph spoke about his dream, and his words got his brothers offended. He spoke about things that were yet to happen, and the way he said it offended people around him. If they hated the way Joseph shared his dream, maybe Joseph discussed his dream in glowing colours. He realised there is a way dreamers talk. Dreamers believe that their dreams will take them to the future they desire. As Joseph shared his dream, I sense confidence which they interpreted as arrogance; I see passion , which they thought was over-sabi. Friend, glean a lesson from Joseph: Talk big! Do not speak according to your limitations, speak according to your revelations. Do not speak according to the expectations of men, speak according to Gods plans concerning you. Do not be apologetic about your dream because you dont want to offend people. If your dream doesnt earn you haters, maybe it isnt massive. People may despise you for your dreams, ignore them and work towards it, your result will become that evidence that terminates every argument. [I PRAY] the discernment of the Lord to You- let the Wisdom of God guide you and may He fill you with His Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ. PRAYER POINT: LORD, Thank You for Your Grace; I will keep speaking of my dream until it becomes a reality in Jesus Name. AMEN!
