CameroonPostline --A road accident that occurred Wednesday, June 5, along the Ekona-Muea highway, claimed six lives, four of them on the spot. According to some motorbike riders at the scene of the tragedy, two of their colleagues, each transporting two passengers, were headed for Buea from Lysoka when a speeding car, in an attempt to overtake collided, with the bikes. The two riders, Ernest Che and a certain Bonaventure, whose body was so badly ripped apart, died on the spot. Two of the passengers, Benedicta Ebony who was on her way to write the GCE exam, and Sedone Ngum, a final year student of the Government Teachers Training College, GTTC, Mile 17 Buea, also died on the spot. The other two passengers were still alive but in critical condition and were rushed to a nearby hospital. They died some hours later. At the Buea Regional Hospital morgue, the remains of Bonaventure who was ripped apart, were rejected and requested he be immediately buried.
