Can any of our veterinarians that frequent this page expand on this as I am learning about it, I feel it may also be a problem with equine rescue and something to consider with after care of the rescued animal. I suspect it may have a bovine version as well. In humans, this sounds like the onset of heat stroke. Another reason that treating them all as if in shock is a good idea and can buy time as the IVs are applied.
