Can anyone give me some advice? My welder has suggested using 40 x 40 galvanised box section to replace the outer sections of the bed support? And the panels inside the bottom floor covering the petrol tank need replacing, he suggests alloy checker plate? Does anyone know if there is a replacement panel for this on a ute? The galvanised box sounds like a good idea, but I am worried about originality and just the words checker plate send shivers up my spine! (Having just removed the 80s bodged checker plate bed!) Any advice welcome!
