Can someone explain this to me? I was doing some research of various types of Hinduism practices and came across this. Can someone explain this form of ritual practice, why is it that these people are behaving in such an aggressive manner? Is there a force entering these people or is this a psychosomatic disorder? Why dont they feel pain? Could this possibly be the god that the Vedas talk of? Seems perplexing to the concepts I have been exposed to so far. Anyone cares to explain this phenomenon?
