Can we just pause for a moment to reflect on this holiday. Sure, its a great time to pull out the grills to cook up some hotdogs and drink beer. But, theres really a lot more to it. Memorial Day belongs to the women and men who gave their all to defend our way of life. Their willingness to put everything on the line and to sacrifice on our behalf reminds us of their courage & strength. We honor a long, long, long line of patriots who have died at battle or have passed because of service-related injuries. Their final moments on Earth show the highest amount of selflessness that can be shown by man. Our future generations need to realize that Memorial Day is sacred. Freedom does have a price. So this weekend while everyone is out barbequeing, enjoying the lake, or partying downtown, remember to bow your head and thank those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for OUR liberty. And be sure to thank those who are currently in battle. We salute you guys. And THANK YOU for giving this country the best gift ever: FREEDOM.
