Can you name all the countries in the USSR (1922-1991)? The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (the USSR or Soviet Union ) consisted of Russia and the current surrounding countries as follows: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
