Cancellations to services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street Owing to a fault with the signalling system between Ipswich and Stowmarket fewer trains are able to run on all lines. Impact: Train services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins at short notice. Disruption is expected until 23:59 07/08. Customer Advice: Train services are now able to run through between Ipswich and Stowmarket, however trains will be running at a heavily reduced speed between these locations. Additional Owing to a complete loss of signalling between Ipswich and Stowmarket, fewer trains are able to run between these stations. Train services between Liverpool Street and Norwich, in both directions, are running through the affected area with trains being delayed by up to 30 minutes. Train services between Ipswich and Cambridge are cancelled, and replaced by buses for the remainder of the day. Train services between Ipswich and Peterborough are cancelled. The 22:18 CrossCountry Trains departure from Peterborough to Cambridge will call additionally at Whittlesea and Manea. Customers should change at Ely, where a bus connection will be waiting to go forward to Colchester. Abellio Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on London Underground services between Liverpool Street and Kings Cross, First Capital Connect train servics between London Kings Cross and Ely, and on East Midlands Trains services between Ely and Norwich, in both directions until further notice. Customers with advance purchase tickets are advised that restrictions have been lifted, and they may travel earlier or later today, than the time specified on their ticket.
