Cancer is a very touchy subject for me and my family, we know first hand what this horrible sickness can do to a whole family. And thats why Im doing a Fundraiser for a Marie, all my earnings will go to help her cause. We are going to have a vendors event soon but I though that I can get this started with an Online Party to maximize the donation :) This is a Win Win situation! Thank you again for your interest in participating in this fundraiser for my cousin. This is a cause that is very dear to my heart. Here is a little bit about why I am doing this fundraiser. Her name is Marie, she is 28 and a mother of two (5 and 6) She is happily married and strong in her faith that she can pull through this despite the doctors verdicts. She survived colon cancer 2.5 yrs ago (they also told her the she had 6 months to live at that time as well) Doctors recently found a tumor in her bladder and she was scheduled for surgery to have partial/all her bladder removed. A few days before surgery she went to the hospital for some pain and found 3 more spots on her liver (because of this her tumors in her bladder are now considered inoperable) As you can see, her cancer is spreading fast. She has recently been released from the hospital since there is not much more they can do for her except keep her comfortable. She is home now with her children and her spirits are high. Her faith is much stronger than her fears! I am holding this fundraiser in hopes to raise as much as I can to help out with any medical bills, elective medicines, if she needs help paying for someone to help watch her children, etc... She says that WHEN she survives this that anything left over she will be donating directly to the cancer patients at Thorton Hospital in La Jolla where she has been receiving her care.
