Cant believe Mr S was sitting talking on TV actually telling fibs about the NHS. Fact we are having to cut health service costs next year by £450 million (btw via a leaked document he didnt tell us) he is blaming it on Westminster because its Scotland having to give money back to England. For goodness sake Eck stop blaming those big bad English evil politicians for taking the money from Scotland. Oh boy does he think people are thick. First of all the Scottish government has full policy making powers over the NHS. We dont have money raising powers but good efficient policies can equal improved services. On a personal level and having recently watched someone very close to me being treated for cancer and a very elderly mother get treated for a serious injury I can say without a doubt we have a fabulous health service in the UK. However despite my eternal gratitude I could see the inefficiencies and flaws that our doctors and nurses need to cope with. Is that just a Scottish issue? No its not! But Mr S certainly cannot convince me that independence will change this especially since Scotland have had the the power to change ineffecttive and inefficientpolicies and so far and have been unsuccessful albeit mine is a personal experience ITS A FACT Scottish government have failed to deliver what the whole of the UK aspires to. I for one dont believe we can do this on our own. There is only 5.25 million of us in Scotland. How many people of working age are working to fund how many pensioners who thank god are living longer?. How many people are there on benefits short and long term. Again how many people in work arev funding this. I know the figures but why dont you do the research Mr S. How can our snall working population sustain this? The oil will dry up the whisky might lose its flavour, the fishes might swim away we might not get the crrency agreenent needed and the renewable energy might not happen (especially when people keep moaning about the wind turbines and petitioning against them). Anyway Mr S please understand there are people in Scotland who dont see independence as a panacea for all of Scotlands problems. There are some intelligent people who will continually challenge your empty promises your risk free utopia and your sums that dont add up. So again even at this late hour you need to take responsibility for the risks and potential consequences you are asking people to accept just on your vision. So far the negotiation skills of the Scottish government have not been impressive by any stretch of the imagination. Telling people to accept that all will be alright on the night because all of the Scottish politicians whoever they may be will develop super human negotiation powers does cut it for me. Please let it be a firm No vote come Friday morning as i fly off to sunnier climes. X
