Cape Town is small well let me rephrase that the music industry is small. Yet there are people who make ridiculous claims all the time. No artist worth his salt ever says his the greatest blah blah blah ( unless your name is Kanye West lol ). No artist worth their salt thinks that the scene revolves around them. Hubris is a dangerous thing being aware of your skill is one thing , mouthing off in public is another. You just inviting trouble by going out there and making claims. This isn’t about HUMILITY because thats another PITFALL IMO , you should be confident. However if shooting down everything else around you to make yourself feel relevant this is not the way forward. Name dropping not a plan at any point. Those that need to know will know …. Head down and keep grinding , your work is your business card not your mouth.PS one single doesn’t make you a producer it makes someone with a single out. #TipForTheDay
