Cardio workout. Dont ignore cardio. It is a major component of a successful fitness program, apart from the weight training. . It is done, unlike many strongly believe, not just to burn the calories and lose weight. Its main purpose is to enhance the cardiovascular system. In simple words, to increase your stamina. That means, there is no use of doing it casually for hours together. You will gain nothing out of it. All the calories burnt by this will easily be replaced by your diet. Doing it with high intensity, even for a shorter duration, will reap huge benefits. You should huff and puff and gasping for breath, even if it is done for 10 minutes, right after your cardio exercise. Today is my cardio day. Here is the video of my small part of a high intensity on treadmill. (I walk for 20 minutes increasing the intensity every minute. Last 5 minutes are for cooling down, step by step) ..
