Care Package! Flyers, Stickers, Postcards and some Buttons for handing out. I appreciate the friendly readers, who help finding more like-minded people. In the unlikely event that Twisted ever becomes popular enough that I can fully concentrate on it, you can bet on way more content in shorter time. But until then - just knowing, that people appreciate the comic and like to help out, eases my bad conscience of working on something that i love instead of drawing marketable graphics. I am not sure, what I would do, if nobody read Twisted. For several years i had this unpublished in a drawer. The main reason of not publishing it, was the fear, that it was not good enough. I still have this fear, but... from lying in a drawer it wont become better. To improve my drawing, I could do other things that might be easier on the eyes and more pleasing in a portfolio. Working on a comic has me constantly drawing - more than ever before. I am forced to draw a lot of things that i could not draw before. So thats a technical plus. But again - if nobody cared about this project besides me, I dont think I could finish it. This work just becomes finished, if it goes through other heads than mine - i think that of every artwork I do. And if the work doesnt resonate at all, its not worth the hundreds, thousands of hours. That said, the way to resonating artwork is long and of course, it takes a lot of work to even reach a place, where artworks speak to other people. I am aware, that many pages are lacking and i still have so much to learn, but already being lucky enough to have some people caring, is a major motivation. Thank you : )
