Carols update on Gidget: Gidget is maintaining today. I did give her a little more fluids just to keep up her hydration this morning. She seems less lethargic. I keep trying her alone with her mom, but mom is not willing to stay put and let her nurse. So I am protecting her place when all the kittens line up to eat and holding her steady while she nurses. She is also doing better with the formula supplement. She has learned to suck on the nipple and will stay attached for a short while. So we will be doing that often in between her time with her mom. So ..... so far, so good. I just wish she were growing faster. Would like to get the spine closed as soon as possible. Please.... Please keep praying for Gidget and Carol.
