Catching up (at least on recent history) after months of barely logging in to facebook, I saw a friends post about reading the meditations and prayer time posts and memes of her friends. She said, My meditation today went something like this...Man, God, you really showed off big time today, and her beseeching prayer to the One who knows her heart and every thought was simply You got this!. My brother once forgot he was saying a blessing to a big group of family and ended in what I assume is his usual sign off with talk to ya later rather than Amen. I can totally relate to finding God in everything and a dialog that is more colloquial than reverent at times when I am praying. This morning, I caught myself having a full-on worship experience listening to the radio after dropping Shelbee off for finals. Funny thing was I was listening to Hank FM, not AirOne or K-LOVE. But the words of the song spoke to me like a worship song that hits your prayer on the head when you sing it. It makes me happy that I can talk to God without the need for a certain setting, time of day, or even a time of year like now. He is always there if I have an open heart. So here is my meaningful worship song for everyone (and especially my friend Brooke Hukill, whose post I was reading just before it came on....
