We always judge and perceive that the people who are incarcerated are battle harden criminals or let say the garbage of the society and cannot be changed, especially if they are housed in a maximum security prison. Well, we need to think again. The CPDRC (Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center) housed the WORLDs ONLY dancing Inmates. Yes! You read it right dancing inmates. Their crime are not as simple as Harassment through text, but these are accused murderers, rapists, and drug dealers. And they are not only counting days or months for their sentence, but they are counting years with the range of 12 years and 1 day to 20 years (reclusion temporal) and from 20 years and 1 day to 40 years (reclusion perpetua) imprisonment. The Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) is a prison located in Cebu City, in Cebu Province, Philippines. It is a maximum security prison facility with a capacity for 1600 inmates. The prison became well known for its rehabilitation program in 2005-2010 based on a program of choreographed exercise routines for the inmates. Known as CPDRC Dancing Inmates, the recordings of the various routines of the prisoners exercise were uploaded online rendering them as an international online celebrity sensation and phenomena, making them a popular feature among fans and veritable online celebrities.
