Cedar Point ended up reneging on naming a coaster after LeBron and know that they wont for my dad either, but his quick ups and downs and unexpected twists and turns have gotten my pulse raised on a few occasions. Dad had a rough night Friday and Sunday then seemed to be slowly turning the corner and trending up on Monday. He was going farther in PT and could say 3 or 4 words before being winded and his oxygen was up to 96% on 3L oxygen. However, the chest x-ray taken yesterday ominously showed worse fluid both inside and outside his lungs. Today when I went to see him, my instinct kicked in as he didnt look good and said he felt weak. I couldnt feel his pulse but could feel that he was warm. Turns out he had a fever and diarrhea and was confirmed this evening as having C Diff. His blood pressure has kept rolling up to 100 and down in the 70s almost as fast as if he were in Sandusky. Hes getting antibiotics and IV fluids (despite his feet being quite swollen as he is very dehydrated). When I left tonight he was smiling and said hed see me tomorrow. Well see where his ride takes us next. Thanks again for listening and praying.
