‘Celebrating Summer’ This coming Sunday, August 18th., we will have a rare opportunity to hear Esther Hankerson sing……right here at the Event Site. She has teamed up with keyboard artist Ted Horwitz, from The Dalles. The duo will be performing from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. at the Event Site West End. There will be a tip jar out for Ted, so please be prepared with a little cash on hand. This unique performance will be immediately followed with a Pot Luck supper. If you would like to be a part of this, please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone. If you would like to contribute h’oerderves, it would be great to have these available during the performance. You will also need your chair, favorite beverage and a plate etc. A little bit about Esther: She and husband Bruce have been coming to the Gorge for the past 25 years. Esther has been singing with band ‘Sister Ray’ in the Seattle area, for about 8 years. A little bit about Ted: He has recently moved to The Dalles, and is self proclaimed ‘The New Keyboard Guy from Ohio’.
