Celtic are weighing up a move for Maccabi Tel Aviv winger Tal Ben Haim. The 25-year-old has been watched by the Scottish champions and they have been impressed with what theyve seen, although no bid has yet been made for the players services. Having started his career with Maccabi Petah Tikva, Ben Haim made the move to Tel Aviv in 2013 and has two years left on his deal. STV has learned the player has a £2m clause in his contract to release him from his current employers and the player is keen on a move abroad. It is understood Ronny Deilas men face competition from clubs in England, Ukraine and Belgium. Ben Haim, who can play on either flank and off the striker, scored twice in four Champions League qualifiers this summer as Maccabi were beaten by Celtic’s eventual conquerors Maribor in the third qualifying round. 🍀
