Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design warns to avoid running social media pages titled CEAD; action will be taken as per cyber crime law: Dr. Bhai Khan Shar Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, (CEAD, MUET) Jamshoro administration has warned to avoid launching pages having title CEAD. A meeting was held at CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro to discuss such issue. CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro, Director Prof. Dr Bhai Khan Shar said that educational institutions have vital importance in career building of students where as the development in the field of communication has further facilitated the students, so, CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro administration is also taking most of this technology to guide them through all possible sources. He said that it is observed that some social pages titled CEAD have kept irrelevant material are propagating misinformation about different examination, extracurricular activities, circulars etc, that create unrest in the study career of students and lead them to misguidance. Dr. Bhai Khan Shar further added, CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro administration keeps its rights reserved for the title CEAD, so, it is warned to all internet users to avoid developing pages titled CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro in future and the users who are still running such type of pages are advised to submit their administrative authority in four weeks to public relations section of CEAD, MUET, Jamshoro for smooth running of Centre. He warned that if anyone found to run such pages after mentioned period without approval, an action as per cyber crime law will be taken against him/her.
