Chad Elliott of Creationism and the Origin of Life really thinks - TopicsExpress

Chad Elliott of Creationism and the Origin of Life really thinks much of this article. Of course the biggest problem with this article is that it is using some rather old sources (the article itself is more than ten years old) and hence totally ignores what has been learned in the intervening time. For example, studying the large structure of the universe, we have been able to determine the curvature of the universe, and hence the energy of the universe, and found that the universe is overall flat. This means that the total energy of the universe is zero. Because the total energy of the universe is zero, contrary to Chads claim about the 1st law of thermodynamics, there is no violation of that law under the big bang cosmology. livescience/33129-total-energy-universe-zero.html Chads second error is to assume that these scientific laws are inviolable, that there cannot be anything that violates them. A scientist would tell you otherwise. Laws are based on properties that have not been seen to be violated in most conditions. However, even these fundamental laws of science can be violated under unique conditions. For example, the 2nd law of thermodynamics can be violated: An older article: newscientist/article/dn2572-second-law-of-thermodynamics-broken.html#.U7Bh8vldVBk More recent confirmation of the fact that the 2nd law of thermodynamics can be broken: sciencedaily/releases/2014/03/140331130848.htm Chad, you claim to be have acquired savant syndrome, yet you cannot do even a 5 minute Google search to vet the claims that you find, and make, on the internet? Yeah, a savant you certainly are not. Common, arrogant, narcissistic apologist is a better description of you. Be sure to vet those claims in the future.
