Chain: Masscash Position: Junior Desktop Technician Functions / responsibilities: • Responsible for effective and efficient designing of reports using MS SQL Reporting Services, with MS SQL as the underlying database • SharePoint development • Writing queries and stored procedures using MS SQL query analyser • Design and deploy reports with MS Reporting services • Modify changes to existing reports • Respond to and solve end user support calls Requirements: • SQL/Reporting Services experience – minimum requirement • MCDBA or studying towards - advantageous • Have SharePoint development knowledge • Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Operating software; Microsoft Office - including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio, MS Projects • Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains environment(Advantageous)A+ and/or N+, MCP – minimum requirement • IT diploma or MCSE studies advantageous • Have a solid knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Operating software; • Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains environment(Advantageous) • Matric or relevant experience • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are important • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business • Must show a willingness for self-development • A self-starter who is able to work independently, within a team • Enthusiastic and self-motivated • Able to work under pressure with consistent accuracy • Confident with a high energy level • Minimum of 2 months to 4 years in related field • Valid driver’s license • Have a pleasant telephone manner and be diplomatic • Have the ability to co-ordinate all related category activities • Be flexible and responsiveness in approach • Accountability • Trouble shooting and Problem solving skills • Team Orientated but able to work without supervision • Ability to work with speed and accuracy • Ability to work under pressure • Be able to work outside normal office hours • Be able to be on after hours standby, if required Application closing date: 10 March 2014 Contact person: Sarah McFarland Email address: [email protected]
