Change the way your ski rides for like 10 bucks. 1. Remove nose piece and pole cover. Hang pole from ceiling. Measure 5 times then cut pole. Do not cut too deep because of all the cables and wires. 2. Drill out all rivets with a 1/4 drill bit. Or whatever you need to get them out. Some of mine spun so I used pliers, hacksaw, flathead. Remove cut pole piece. 3. Clear out 1 1/2 of foam. Lube cables with wd-40 and push through rubber grommet. 4. Clean out pole bracket good. 5. Put pole in, make sure its all the way down. Put on hood to make sure its straight. 6. Drill 1/4 hole in pole. Use 1/4 20x1 bolts, washers, locknuts. Washer on each side of bolt. This is fun to reach so use duct tape on finger to hold but. Once you get first nut in check for straightness. 7. Continue the rest if holes. 8. Put cover and boss piece on and enjoy the difference. I removed 6 inches from mine. Took about 2 hours.
